Pilates is useful to rehabilitate following an injury or an operation, including the most common one that we deal with, the dreaded back injury.
 
Correct technique is vital to the effectiveness of any Pilates programme. Our clients have found One2one or small groups to be the most effective as it allows the instructor to focus 100% on the individual.

Are You New to Pilates?

 
One2one sessions are ideal to get you started until you have a firm grip of the key working principles and practise good technique, so that you enjoy safe progress prior to joining one of the group classes.
 


 Been absent from Pilates for a while?
 
A private lesson is recommended as a review after a long absence from a regular Pilates practice due to physical changes such as pregnancy, injury, or illness.
 


You've had a medical referral?
 
You may have been advised by a therapist or doctor to undertake some Pilates. In which case choose carefully what you do. You will get best results, particularly with issues like back pain or shoulder pain, if you undertake a course of Private Pilates sessions as you will be closely supervised.

Specialist Sessions 
 
Due to the nature of various conditions, specialist attention may be required to achieve the very best results for you. Pilates is also a great way of getting 'back into' exercise if you are middle-aged or elderly, as it improves your general fitness, but it isn't too tiring or strenuous. 
 


Duo / Trio training sessions:
 
Work with a friend or two in your own privacy. Small group Pilates sessions are a little more economical per participant than a private Pilates lesson, but still allows for plenty of individual assessment, guidance and monitoring, to help you achieve your deired results.

 
 


Training in your home / work-place or at our studio:
 
Pilates at home has never been more popular. It's all about CONVENIENCE! If pilates can fit in around your schedule by coming to you in your own home, it is guaranteed to be more effective because you will do it more often. By the instructor visiting you on a one to one or small group basis, you get their undivided attention for the duration of the session resulting in your practice being of better quality, you get better at pilates more quickly and allow it to be its most beneficial for you.
 
A private ‘Me..time’ Pilates training session usually last 55 minutes and can be conducted in your home / work place or at our Studio by one of our Pilates experts.
